Drift owners, Bryan Chittenden and Greg Donnally had an idea to contemporize the traditional tiki bar concept for the new generation…contemporary music and design with traditional Polynesian food and exotic tiki drinks. There was nothing else like it in the market!
Drift is unique in that it is the only casual Polynesian style tiki restaurant and bar in the Valley. Reasonable prices make it very affordable and the atmosphere makes it very comfortable and relaxing as if on vacation. The drinks, all unique exotic concoctions, will make you believe you are in a tropical paradise.
Resembling a Dr. No style living room, Drift is equipped with bamboo ceilings, interior walls of volcanic rock, tribal masks lining the walls, live plants and fiery torches that line the entrance and patio. In addition, a 7-foot Moai, or stone-carved figure originally found on Easter Island, watches over patrons while they visit this swank and funky dining room. 60’s style swivel chairs line the bar as a 300 gallon salt-water aquarium sits in the middle giving diners that exotic yet serene vibe. One can expect mellow new age melodies along with contemporary tunes and 60’s rock.
Visit Drift, and visit a whole other world!
